LETS CELEBRATE HOLI !!!

HAPPY HOLI

HI  FRIENDS…     This is high time in BHU… When HOLI comes, it brings rainbow color diversity to its beautiful campus. For a week .. the “EVER GREEN” tag of BHU changes to  a “VIBGYOR”. In the same time BHU lanes demands more foot steps.. but alas all its family members go for a long drive to all possible remotest corner of INDIA. All we left with vacant roads, empty campus bus, closed tea stalls in VT , occasional copules in MADHUVAN, and a hungry scene in Central Library. Still existing manpower try their best to overshow the pompous BHU strength and vigour. Beautiful lawns see their first wound on their surface,as all dig soil, make a perfectly tuned …well balanced Ph  ” SOIL SOLUTION”…( remember chemistry lab), douse it over as if BHU has provided free alcohol….then…then…then.. We all come to street starting from VT to LANKA GATE…. demand whole breadth of road as our “BIRTH RIGHT”…..Literaly (MINI road Blocked). All  unknown passer by become our BHAIYA or BHAUJI …really marvellous experience. One thing more important then this celebration…is we all remain virtually hungry..as all mess & hotels in lanka are closed. then MAGGI serves as our appetizer..

so friends come join together..we all will celebrate holi with a new vibrant spirit…

jai ho..har har mahadevvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv

Here is last years prospectus which contains all this information.
The new prospectus will be in stands in late January. So till then you can refer to this to show your preparations a right direction.

Selection for “Earn and Learn” begins at BHU

Earn and LearnAn interview for the selection of students in the Earn and Learn program was held at the BHU campus. Meritorious but financially weak students were elligible for this program and after selection they are given various university tasks part-time. (Unfortunately I didnt fulfill the elligibility mainly because of the latter criteria).

Students are paid at the rate of Rs 40 per hour and they are required to work for around two hours per day for 15 days in the month. this makes then earn around Rs 1200 per month.

Freshers Day at I.A.S.

Agriculture SciencesThe seniors welcomed the juniors with a warm welcome at the Institute of Agricultural Sciences. Almost no signs of ragging. I dont know how long will it persist. Thoda security loose ho jaye phir ayega mazaa.

Undertaking Ragging

FormHello friends, many of you must have signed a undertaking that you will not be involved in any sort of ragging this year. When I came to now about this site I thought why not share everything, no matter the undertaking form (for those who have luckily not signed it).

So as soon as I was handed one, the first thing that struck my mind was bhuspeaks.com. Its really a commendable effort.

Marathon Counselling at IAS

M.Sc counselling at Institute of Agricultural Sciences was on. It lasted for 12 hrs till 11PM. I never expected it to be so hectic.. Even the shops at VT were shut down and we were struggling for survival. I wish that the classes do not run in a similar fashion. Actually the number of candidates called were more than the staff could handle. Everyone was pleading to continue the next day but the administration turned deaf. They continued till 11 PM at night and we had a lot of problems in returning. Overall my experience at BHU this time was quite bitter.

Love Story — by Erich Segal

This story is about a young man that falls in love with a girl. He is astonished by how smart the girl is, how many things she can see that he doesn’t. He admires her cause. He knows she is better than him in all aspects and loves her very much. The girl makes him grow up and realise many things. She tells him when you love someone, you should never say I’m sorry.
The girl tries hard so that the young man regains his relationship with his father, but the young boy realises everything when it ’s so …late!
The dialogs are so exciting and funny!
The girl admits things that the boy doesn’t want to admit, for example the fact that he marries her makes him happy not only cause he loves her but also cause he does this against his father will.
You read it like (as if) you are the boy. It’s sure you will be astonished by the character and personality of the girl and you ‘ll grow up together with the boy.

It’s a great story……………you ‘ll wish to find someone that is so incredible and loves you that much.
