My experience at Spandan 09
I was fortunate to be a part of Spandan, the annual youth fest of BHU. Unfortunately I didnt backed any prizes but the experience was far any explaination.
At Spandan, one thing I observed was that the faculty who organised a particular event grabbed prizes in the very same event. I wonder how ?? For example, if Institute A organised Essay Writing, participants from Insitiute A won Esaay Writing. It was the same with other events. I think the coordinators must note this.

Discrimination among students
It has been 2 years since I am in this university. During these two years I have realized that the students who live in the city are cut off from the hostellers. As a consequence there is a formation of two groups (atleast in my faculty), one of the hostellers and another of the city students. Many times I have found myself neglected when it came to participating in various activities because the hostellars dominated and I lived in the city. I request everyone to fill this gap so that no fresher suffers in future.

Say NO to ragging — again
The admissions are ‘on’ and we can see ‘No Ragging’ posters throughout the campus.
Even haircuts and dress codes have been identifoed as ragging by the administration.
This year freshers at IT and IMS are provided with ‘Scouts’– kind of bodyguards.
Can they really get out of the ragging stuff……nnnnaaaaaaaahhhh.
Scouts, for God sake dont sleep with the freshers……
