In the university you are known for : For being a jack of all trades and master of some.

Hobbies and Interests: Net surfing is my favorite pastime. Dancing and playing basketball are others. I have a keen interest in the happenings of the corporate world.

Your ambition and do you feel that BHU has/will help you in realizing your dreams? Why?

I am aiming for new heights with my innovative thinking. The launchpad that I’ll most probably use is a managerial job in an MNC. I cant say whether BHU will really help me or not but I am sure that BHU will be like a feather in the cap in my career profile.

Why did you prefer to join BHU?

When you have such a prestigious central university, like BHU, in your city itself then its foolishness to look for anything else.

The best teacher you have come across (Mention along with Subject & Department):

Prof. J.K. Roy, Cell Biology and Genetics, Department of Zoology.

A comment about students in the university

I would only say that majority of students here need an extra push to make them stand equivalent to other universities, like Delhi University.

Which is the coolest spot to hang out in BHU?

VT is the best.

The administration is successfully realizing Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya Ji’s dream since decades. Agree/Disagree. Why?

Disagree. BHU is quite behind in providing all round development to its students (especailly undergraduates). In today’s world only bookish knowledge doesn’t count.

Is the Student’s Council an efficient platform to bring forward opinions and problems of students?

Student’s Council is worthless. I haven’t see any of its significant effect in my faculty. We still maintain an attendence of 90% as per our Dean’s instructions.

What’s most special/unique to BHU?

The campus and its renowned professors is the USP of the university.

At BHU, you really hate…

I really hate the unmanaged relay of information. Many times you don’t even get to know about whats going on in your faculty until you are informed by any of your collegues.

If you were the VC, what will you definitely change?

I’ll increase the number of seats at PG level, change Faculty of Science to an Institute and pull down the upper limit of attendence.

Anything else you would like to say…

I just request all the students at BHU to have their say. Till date the most easy and efficient platform is this site itself. I dont have any expectations from the Student’s council so probably by this platform we may bring to notice the flaws to the administration.
