Results taking too long
This year second year in my faculty the results are taking too long. From the last 10 yrs final year results were followed by second year results but this year they were astonishingly followed by first year results. Where the second year reults vanished, no one knows.
On asking at deans office, the staff says to contact Controller of Examinations and vice versa is also true. Sometimes they have even said that “its on the way.” I wonder how far are the results.
And here comes the climax of the post. Today students were finally called at dean’s office for distribution of results. Students from all over the city gathered. We saw the report cards kept on the table. But suddenly one of the officials announced “Come tomorrow.” I hope that when we go tomorrow we get to see our annual performance and not just burn valuable oil as we did today.

Say NO to ragging — again
The admissions are ‘on’ and we can see ‘No Ragging’ posters throughout the campus.
Even haircuts and dress codes have been identifoed as ragging by the administration.
This year freshers at IT and IMS are provided with ‘Scouts’– kind of bodyguards.
Can they really get out of the ragging stuff……nnnnaaaaaaaahhhh.
Scouts, for God sake dont sleep with the freshers……

Why partial election for students council ?
Unlike last year, this year’s students council will not be nominated rather than it will be elected.
But there comes the strange procedure for the election….
Top 10 students (academically) would choose one representative among themselves.
Why shall we consider only the top 10 ?? Are the rest of the students good for nothing??
Either make it a complete nomination or just make it a complete election Probably the former choice would be better to avoid social commotions.
I thought that I should recommend this great election procedure to the Indian government. Afterall they spend crores of rupees in campaigning.
