V T — A place students at BHU call “home”
Whenever we start something we take the name of God…
But here at BHU we not only start with the name of God, we spend our entire time in his lap…
Guys I’m talking about Vishwanath Temple at BHU (popularly reffered as VT)..
It is the tallest temple tower, and next tallest to Qutub Minar in New Delhi. I know many of you must not have known this.
Unique & grand temple. The cool breeze, the vishramshala… the serenity… the terrace… and the tourists too… none other place like it. Truely God’s abode. Moreover it’s most visited place of university students and ofcourse one of the best places for couples to spend hours.
The shops outside enhace the charm. But nowadays we get only a limited stuff there..thanks to our ex-VC Prof. Punjab Singh who banned all the junk food, chinese cuisines and cold drinks.
For me having a glance at the temple before the exam is a must. You need to do that when you dont study the entire year, right…
Truely, BHU would have been incomplete without it..
Just imagine if there was no VT at BHU ……………….
